Waiting

by Whip   Aug 28, 2008

You try so hard to understand what It must be like for me, I try so hard to be a man to live like you, so joyous and free.
The day I chose to walk alone, this empty shell of flesh and bone.
I’m hollow now from head to toe, no more emotion left to show, no color I see or sweet sounds to hear, no beautiful life that you see co clear.
To take it back and make a new choice, would take a miracle, would take God’s voice.
I haven’t heard it, not yet today, so on my knees I will stay.
To you my friend, I offer this, my heart, my soul, eternal bliss, and one more thing, my good-bye kiss.

You need to go back and edit it for your punctuation marks that this program has problems with.
I'm not much for rhyming prose, more conventional(old) but I feel your metre goes off in a couple places.
third sentence change "co" to "so"

You always need to go back over any write that contains appostrophies or quotation marks as he program translates them as strange symbols. I feel this would be better if broken down from prose format to standard verse, this way the rhythm can be better felt and corrected if needed.
