In Your Memories You'll Find Me

In your memories you'll find me...
those are the last word i heard her say
before my very eyes
she died that very day

I tool what she said to heart
I went home and went to sleep
I started dreaming
can you you guess what it is i see ?

I saw her again just the way she was
she was wearing those same clothes
that tight fitting skirt
with the v cut top

I dreamt we were holding hands
walking on the beach
I know it's just a dream
but at least shes in my reach

sadly I knew it couldn't last
but still I wont give up
well meet again someday
and experience each others touch

now it's time to go to sleep
or better yet wake up
you what the hardest part of this whole ordeal is ?
The hardest part of dreaming about
someone you love is having to wake up.

    I'm going to have to disagree with the comment above mine because I think the ending was pretty nice.
    But that could be because I can relate to those two lines very well.

    But anyway, the poem was ... okay. The rhyming was great as well as the emotion but it just lacked something. You could have made it a bit longer? Like I felt it finished as soon as it started.
    But that's just my opinion.
    Overall, it was a nice read. =)
