Outside looking In

A reflection of myself in
the mirror that stands
alone and cold
just there in the corner.

The sky reflects inwards
unclear and in a daze.
The curtains drawn back
standing parallel to my stain.

The hardwood floors
look creaky and clean
only to be the least
that everyone sees.
