your mom and siblings always shout,
the words they say filling you with doubt.
not understanding what's going on,
but you know it is all too wrong.

mama forbidding your love for him,
saying she'll lock you up and keep you in grim.
trying to make her understand your love for this boy,
but she thinks your her little talking toy.
