Special

by L o s tAndA l o n e   Sep 6, 2008

I stare at you,
Across the room.
I think I'll tell you,
I've got nothing to lose.
I thought I was over him,
I thought it was done.
Then I saw him again,
And I know I'm in for the long run.
As soon as I think things are fixed,
I wreck it all again,
It's just one of my flaws;
Part of who I am.
Whoever accepts that,
Really, truly cares,
Their the kind of people,
To keep away my nightmares.
They're hard to find,
Harder to keep,
And once they leave,
You always feel weak.
They're always there,
No matter how they feel.
If you ever need them,
They'll be there for you.
