The Wonder Of My Love For You

by Ray Smallshaw   Sep 9, 2008

Times perpetual clock draws us near,
Yet if it stopped, my Love would cross its void,
As Love is older than time itself,
It can span an ageless earth,
Drawing our spirits closer together,
As evermore, you are in my heart,
As certain as death itself my Love for you is all around,
In the words I have written to you and in the time we shared,
In those so few moments and the secret pleasures of our bodies shared,
Yet only time holds the proof just how much my Love has encompassed your heart.
With its everlasting glow,
It will always be there, that is the wonder of my Love for you

Well I am glad I stumbled upon you as well. What a touching love poem. We always hope that the one we love will realize the depths of our love. This certainly states that love. Great Job.

I found you through TJ and I am glad that I did. This is a beautiful love poem. Love no matter what brings two people together through many lives and will survive all things. I too added it to my favorites. Well done.
