Let Go

by BornAgainWriter   Sep 9, 2008

Enchanting smiles surrounding my being,
Speeding cars rolling fast down the highway,
You're either in or you're either out,
Sweetness filling your lungs- your ariway.

Let go and leave your things behind.

Eyes fluttering with life, behind the scenes,
Almost scarier than the book of Revelations,
Children getting beaten, girls yetting raped,
People busy writing their tragedies in fractions.

So let go, jump in; well what are you waiting for?

Black and white keys playing the tune to this story,
Communities experiencing drive by shootings; violence,
Just let go, theres beauty in the breakdown,
Young teens looking in wrong places for guidence.

Let it all wash away.

Come with me and take my hand,
The word, rises with the fall,
Stronger than ever let's all stand,
Even the small can stand tall.
