My life has turned
Out just right
All thanks to a call
I received tonight,
From the boy,
Who broke my heart,
About the reasons why
We had to fall apart.
We saw our fate,
Against it, we fought.
I have not one regret
Or second thought.
Things have turned out
As best as they possibly could,
But if I could change them
I probably would.
But where we left things
Is fine by me,
