I have a confession
I've been told "I'm regressing
from who I used to be.

My world has turned around
My ship's sailed, I've left ground
I'm acting too religiously..."

Can't you see that it's who I am?
Why did we have to have all this "romance"?
Why couldn't you just see...

That I'm not like you!
I'm living my life for God.

I still love you,
But what we had was not that much

The lack of trust and misjudging,
Anger and pain,
Tore us apart, threw our love away

I'm not like you...
I'm bettering my life for God!

    This is an interesting poem, it totally hits the mark of where I was last year in life.
    God is truly the only answer in life, people will come and go but he is always there and faithful.

    Giving, is pleasing God through man. There's no point seeking whom to please. Do justice, to honour the Lord. He, who draws you from God, avoid. When diction collides, friendship falls.
