Cloudy Skies

It's so soothing to lay under these cloudy skies
Watching time pass by, looking for the shapes inside
Totally free for a moment, and at peace in mind
Letting thoughts roam free, and it's her that they find
Reminders of careless happiness, and the love that was mine
Before our eyes were opened, when that love was blind
I smile to myself, knowing we'll own it this time
Now each cloud's moved into place, we've fallen in line
And each was a stepping stone into the heavens we'll climb
