Sun Cries

by Timothy S   Jan 20, 2010

It's beautiful sometimes when the sun cries
How the clouds try to cover it, so seamlessly divine
As if it were anguish lying in thunder frozen in time
Each drop a taste a heaven or a step we hope to climb
Walking through this desert, its nurishment we will find
Flourish it further, paint the skies once blue in my eyes
No more starry nights here only the gray of the night
Maybe fear of fighting off the lightning's gloss
How the droplets paint what's near and what's lost
The cost of accomplishments clearly blinding the cost
Everything I hold dear will be in the rain when its gone
