another anniversary has come and gone
As so often happens lately I'm thinking of you
wishing I were near you
To feel your touch or see your smile
and that mischievous twinkle in your eyes
To be able to hold you in my arms once more
and whisper I love you in your ear
I can still remember the old familiar feelings we shared
And as I sit here now a world apart
I can't help but wonder if you're feeling the same
If you're taken back by a single glance
or how you fell when you hear a certain song
Can you still feel my touch in the morning
think you see my shadow in the mid-day sun
Or hear my voice calling to you in your dreams
mostly, if you remember all the good times we shared
Even though it was a life-time ago
it seems like only yesterday we said "I Do"
and I'm still here loving and missing you
You were the light of my life
