How Is She MEant To Breath?

With so many knives in her back
How is she meant to stand up tall?
With a rope around her throat
How is she meant to breath at all?

With so many people refusing to listen
How is she meant to seek help,
Maybe she's finally realised
That there's nothing to save herself.

With bags of bricks tied to her ankles,
How is she meant to surface for air?
With all the lonely days she spends,
How is she meant to feel like someone cares?

With people telling her it's just a phase,
How is she meant to see brighter days?
She cries when people laugh and mock her words,
And then they expect her not to hurt.

I actually like this poem of mine.....
