Our Astral Dreams

by NightFlyer   Sep 30, 2008

Pearly moonbeams of the night
Silver glow on all I see
Shining Luna's gift so bright
On the darkness fluidly.

Song of crickets in the air
On wings of dreams, it sets me free
To a place without a care
Sweet early morning symphony.

Through wispy clouds of evening, pale
Orion reigns in heavens high
And so with humble words I hail
The opal beauty of the sky.

So let us take a cosmic ride
On a sail boat down nocturnal streams
And till the dawn, our boat will glide
In the splendor of our astral dreams.

Very captivating and entranching as your description took me to a land beyond. I also liked how you wrote "pearly moonbeams", very unique and beautiful. Take care, 5/5 from me. The imagery certainly drew me in and held my attention along with the diction. It had a slight dream-like atmosphere as I was going through it. The mention of Luna and Orion was a nice touch. Really can't pinpoint anything wrong with this piece.
