How do I say goodbye
When it came a day to soon
That is me sharing life
With nobody in this world but you

Blessed with your presence
You're everlasting kisses
You're sensual touch
Why this?

I was given a blessing
Yes, straight from above
You came into my life
Guided my dreams, and now NO!
This can't be what it seems

You opened my eyes to love
To happiness
To clarity
To everything that was once blind to me

You showed me how to love
How to appreciate
How to forgive
Will you forget?

With the passing years
Will you forget my love
My kisses
My touch
My undying dedication to you?

This can't be happening
Dear Lord, it's a day to soon
Please let me stay
Please let me go
She needs me by her side
Please Please NO!

Baby, I've written this as a final goodbye
If the day comes to soon

Don't forget about our dreams
Because you can make them come true
Don't forget about me
Because I wont ever forget about you

It's a bye for today
A bye tomorrow
But when your finally up here with me
There will no longer be any sorrow

For heaven is eternal much like the love
That I carry in my heart
My body decomposed
My soul complete, my love forever

    This is so sweet, sincere, and adorable (: I've read a few pieces of your work, and the only suggestions I have are these: though your poems are very heartfelt, they lack a certain pow quality. Some of the rhymes used are worn out; try to broaden vocabulary, and use metaphors, similes etc. The technical part of poetry cannot be left out, it's the studious part, but it is important. Also, the cadence in your pieces is a bit jumpy. I like that you have no formal set structure, couplets then quatrains blah blah blah, but try to even out your lines, it will set the flow in motion. You have good promise as a writer, I hope you haven't taken offense it what I've said. (: Good work, keep writing down the bones! ***

    This poem is adorable, I absolutely love it.
    Especially this part:

    "Baby, I've written this as a final goodbye
    If the day comes to soon

    Don't forget about our dreams
    Because you can make them come true
    Don't forget about me
    Because I wont ever forget about you"

    I don't know why, it just stood out to me. It was beautifully written, and flowed flawlessly. The words in this stanza just seemed to have so much power and emotion. This is where I really connected with the poem. I can't tell you enough how beautiful and heart-warming it is!
