What are You?

by Mister 47   Oct 2, 2008

What are you?
Isn't it enough, that you hurt me every day with your fears?

How cruel are you?
Why is it so easy for you to bring me to tears?

And why do I accept that you hurt me?
Why do I accept this torment at your hands?
If this is your love, I see it misery
It Is fading away like footprints in the sands

Have you no pity?
Have you no shame that you do this to me and you know I love you?
Is it a shame the love and the longing that I have for you?

Was the love lost completely? Or was it a game?
was all the love i had just gone? Who's to blame?

This was such an emotional write CJ. So many of us get caught up in love and it doesnt matter what the other person does to us, how they treat us, we still love them.
The way you wrote this poem was very unique, i liked it a lot.

Why is it so easy for you to bring me to tears?
^^ Thats what love does to you CJ. Very nice line.

Was all the love I had is gone? Who's to blame?
^^ Okay, this is good, but the wording/tenses are a little off.

'Was all the love i had gone? Who's to blame?
^^ That would be better, without the is in there. If the syllable count works out off if you take out the 'is' then maybe:
'was all the love i had just gone? Who's to blame?'

    Nice poem :]
    5/5
