Winter Wonderland

by StandStill   Oct 4, 2008

Wrapped up in the snowy silence,
grey clouds fading out and in.
Downy feathers sweetly falling,
like razors cutting up rosey skin.

See your breath upon the air,
not as pure as it was before.
Remember winters past, my dear?
Once upon a times prior to the silent roar.

Every inch of snow reminds us,
it's always going to be this way.
Three stanzas of a winter wonderland,
cover your ears..it still won't go away.
