Strange World

by Shantel   Oct 9, 2008

I live in a strange world
Full of vacuous boys
And vain girls
Arrogant men and
Snobby women who care
About their dog more than
Their neighbors

I live in a strange world
Where men are praised for
What a woman is scorned
Where I shoot someone who
Tries to rob me
And I go to jail

I live in a strange world
While a baby is crying
For something to eat,
I am throwing food away
Because it is too cold
While my cousin is fighting
The president's war, the
President's son is "chilling"

I live in a strange world
