The Perfect Me...

by Spanish Star   Oct 10, 2008

Some days are easy
I feel I get things done
But most days I struggle
And they are just not that fun

I try to be perfect
In every single way
In the way that I act
And the things I do and say

I have two beautiful children
They are a blessing to my soul
They complete my heart
And make my world hole

I try to be the perfect mom
And learn them right from wrong
So when its time to leave me
In their hearts they will be strong

I have a great career
As a business woman I can be rough
But in reality I am sweet & nice
And I`m really not that though

As appearance is important
The perfect housekeeper I am
Even though I have to admit
Housework I cant stand

In conclusion I have to say
I try to be as perfect as I can be
But inside my heart
the real imperfect me...no one ever see..

This is absolutely beautiful and so much person especially women can relate to this poem. Perfection is just an illusion, since we all have strength and weaknesses. I encourage you to keep on writing, kel.
