The Last One

From out of the darkness,
Came along my loving knight.
The reason my world is now complete,
Who makes the stars shine more bright.

He completely turned my world,
From black to brilliant white.
I knew he was something special,
I could tell from first sight.

Everything captures me,
Whenever he's around.
My lips curl up into a smile,
Never once a frown.

I wonder what it is,
That takes my breath away.
How is it that one single kiss,
Can turn around a bad day?

All of my life,
I had to go on pretending I was fine.
Finally, I no longer have to lie,
Since our love has intertwined.

I could never fully describe,
How much you truly mean to me.
One day I hope to fall asleep,
And your face be the last one I see.
