Friends

To have a friend is to be a friend,
That's how the saying goes.
So follow these things I have to say,
Or your life will fill with woes.

Never whisper or gossip about your friends
At work or school or play.
And be kind to everyone you meet
Each and every day.

But most important
Be sure you never take your friends for granted.
Because having good friends around you,
Will make your life enchanted.

(Written when I was in grade six with a little help from my aunt with more difficult words... lol)

    This is so cute.. i love friendship poems. you were only is grade 6? wow.. its brilliant. i love it.. and it describes what true friendship is.. not taking someone for granted and not making up things behind their backs..unfortunately we are not always lucky enough to have a friendship without lies and deception.. but when we do, it should be treasured.
