Extinction

by KT Mackey   Oct 16, 2008

Stuck in this hole of forbidden despairs
I'm dancing in sorrow while holding my breath
There's dark all around that awakens my fears
And spikes in the ground that corrupt me.
I'm dodging the sin that clings to my soul
And praying to God Ill survive
Hope, here, once thrived and now falls away
As I'm guarding this mask full of lies.
Extinction inside; Ill remain in my void
As these demons tear me apart.
The dark in my soul has stretched me
All that's left of my whole is a spark.
