What would you do if

by Stephen   Oct 25, 2008

What would you do if I told you I care
and think about you, in all of my prayers
What would you do if I told you I'd try
to treat you the best till the day I die

What would you do if I gave you a kiss
would it be something special, something you'll miss
What would you do if I told you this true
face to face, I don't want to live without you

What would you do if I said I wanted you mine
to hold forever, till the end of time
What would you do if I just wanted a try
to prove to you what I say isn't a lie

What would you do if I did all this
In my mind I think I'd still get dismissed
What you'll really do I'm not sure I'll know
I really do you like you but I can't let it show.

Content wise, this is a sweet poem. This piece shows that you are wondering what will happen if only you show that girl how you feel for her.

and also it shows your love for her. That you can't live without her.

but I do have a critique and that's the repetition, it's a bit overuse. So what it does to my head is that it makes my head focus on the lines What would you do.. and that's good because that's the whole point of the poem and what it was intended, though, if it's over use I lose focus of the rest of the poem.. and I just think about that line.lol

Aside from that, I like the content.

And since this is an old poem, I just wanted to say that you have improved so much.
