One Way

by David ODonnell   Oct 26, 2008

Holding still seems like forever
When you're gone it falls apart
Wait in fear, to be together
What burns alive inside your heart

Heavy hearted simple reason
For being cold but warm inside
When love that changes every season
Pathes the grave of those that died

And every life has one love lost
A piece of mind when arms are crossed
The buried past that wont stay still
Keeps the pain thats hard to heal

Change is made when you fall empty
Inside a hole thats deep and wide
Pain that fills your heart with plenty
Hurt and fear that makes you hide

Lost in love with no protection
Keeps you scared but so alive
All you need is some affection
And without love you won't survive

One way to give up is to never look back
But holding on strong staying dead your tracks
One way to fall down is to fight for whats true
Keeping you down, depression owns you
