Broken Emotions.

How did I let the strongest walls
In the weakest part of my heart come down?
Why did I give him my forever beating heart
Only to find it upon the cold, hard ground?

When I was too weak to stand
You were my rock, my foundation
And now I'm left with nothing more
Than death waiting it's duration

In the midst of all my worrying
You assured me all the best
Helped me along the needed trials
You said this was true loves test

Apparently I failed
Because I'm left standing alone
With a shattered heart and broken memories
Painful scars I'll never let go

    This was sad. It's really sad when this does happen to someone, they love someone and then the relationship doesn't work out. It happens a lot, and I hope that you will be able to move on from this if this really did happen for you. :/ This was sad, kind of simple but I do see a little improvement in your word choice from your other poems I read months ago.. so good job on that, I do recognize that. :] Great work, sad sad poems I've been reading. I hope to see happy ones once again from you.
