Final Goodbye

by Jessica   Nov 3, 2008

He was laying on the bed
His final minutes at hand
She was by his side
With tears of gold
She was clutching him so tightly
And he never wanted her to let go
His breathing started to slow
She sobbed into his shoulder
He said, "Goodbye."
And she screamed no.
He said, "I'll always love you.
And just remeber I'll always be watching over you."
But she never heard
She was already cutting so deep
He watched as the blood poured
His breahting was slowing
He whispered, "Goodbye."
But she had already taken her last breathe
Speaking only the words, "I love you."
