Stepped into the street

by Jessica   Nov 3, 2008

It was 2 am
I was in a pair of shorts
And a bright blue tank top
My hair was pulled back
Into a pony tail
I walked outside saying, "I'll just be a min."
If only that was true
Everyone thought I didn't see the car
But as I stepped into that hard cold street
I was completly aware of the black black car
I was shaking, cold, and scared
But I felt like I didn't have a choice
He was gone
And I was alone
And that's how the story goes
The car didn't the stop sign
And for that I was grateful
I stepped into that cold street
Never thinking
About what whould happen
If that car didn't see the stop sign
And that's where story ends
I stepped into the street
Got hit by that black black car
I was well prepared
For the fact I wasn't coming back
