Pasts Always Seem To Come Back

by Conrad   Nov 17, 2008

You don't care
I don't much myself
Your were not in love
Never in your life

I can't let go of my past
Your's isn't so great
Lets see who's is worse
Shall we?

You're parents never loved you
Mine always have
But they were out working
While you were being spoiled

I didn't have much
You had it all, friends, money
But I could have friends if I wanted
I suppose

You have that haunting ghost
Your first love
Well you were mine
You still are mine, never letting go

I always fall to fast
Love never works out for me
But does it work at all for you?
You never have enough

You would have taken your life
You were so messed up
But im still dying inside
Everytime I see your face

Crying always seems to bring us closer now
Talk to me just one last time
Can't we bring it back just for a little bit
Forget the past, it's no compitition
No one wins when you bring up the past

I love this one. I feel the emotion in the words. I love that line, "I'm dying inside everytime I see your face." So simple, yet powerful. Awesome poem hun.
