Whoever may care

by JustJacq   Nov 25, 2008

Whoever may care, I'm a girl of 18,
I stand at a crossroad, my in between.

Whoever may care, I'm not stupid neither smart,
When you ask me a simple question there are times I have to think hard.

Whoever may care, my sensitivity is quite real,
If someone tries to hurt me then pain is what I'll feel.

Whoever may care, I am happy as can be,
But be careful and alert there are more sides to me.

Whoever may care, I'm not the most patient ordeal
And hiding the real me proves harder to conceal.

Whoever may care, I'm not straightforward I'm kind of shy
When you stamp on my feelings there's a big chance I'll cry.

I not the most popular nor am I the geek
I'm certainly not strong but I also can't say I'm weak.
I'm an 18 year old, I felt you ought to know
I can't make miracles happen, I can't let it snow.

I'm just like everybody else, I curse and I swear
I just thought I'd mention it to whoever may care.

I definitely dig your poem. I loved the flow and how it wasn't directed at a specific person, just whoever might care. I can relate, and I'm sure many others will be able to, that makes your poem seem even better to me. =) Keep up the good work
