The Strongest Pain

by Mister 47   Dec 1, 2008

The strongest pain is when you find
That the person that you love doesn't love you
And when no matter the scream of your eyes
He will not feel that hurt inside you

The strongest pain is when your tears flow
And he will now see or some kindness show
And every time, "I love you" you want to say
Your heart shut up and you'll go your own way

Like you are living your own story alone
Like a stranger in your own bones
And when you are weak you will hope his smiling curve
But you find that who you love doesn't deserve

What a great poem CJ :]
You spoke of the hurt.. of not being comfortable within yourself.. and that really came through to me in this line:

Like a stranger in your own bones
^^ This was SO original.. i really loved it.. Its a line that i will remember for a long time.. it was very good. Well done.

The strongest pain is when you your tears flow
    ^^
You say, you your.. that doesnt make sense. So, i would probably change it to something like:
The strongest pain is when your tears flow.

But overall it was a fantastic poem and i really loved it.
It related to my own issues a little, so it really kept me reading till the end.
Great flow and rhyme too :)
