Swallows cry

by Tiny Reader   Dec 2, 2008

Pure hearts should not be tempted
By the swallows luring cry
Yet here I stand beside you
Struggling to say goodbye.

Gently swooped upon my heart
Fluttered wings upon my soul.
My lips they bleed sweet tear drops
From that first kiss you stole.

Torn apart, between two worlds
Not living in this void.
Temptation got the best of me
And his love I have destroyed.
