Love for a student

You're crying out
Silently
Hoping someone will hear.

It's no wonder you're angry,
No wonder you cry,
When all that you've witnessed,
Is loss and goodbye.

Restraining your outburst,
Tore at my heart,
When I saw in your mad eyes,
You falling apart.

I'll take some of your sadness,
Let it break me down,
Relieve you of heartache,
And cause me to drown.

For you don't deserve this,
You've done nothing wrong
I pray that you'll hold on
I'll help build you strong

I'll be there to guide you
Although you'll push away,
And I'll cry as they leave you
To struggle each day.

It's no wonder you're angry,
No wonder you cry,
You're giving up slowly
And you no longer try.

You're crying out
Silently
Hoping someone will hear.
