A year ago today we met
Short conversations on the net
The friendship started to grow to more
As you my heart slowly adored

Slowly as our friendship grew
I realized it was all about you
One day you called saying you wanted to meet
So then you made me play hide and seek

You became more courageous sneaking out
When you saw me all your worries, left without doubt
Every time wed meet at the lake
It was like our own little place for our dates

I soon learned things about you
Your favourite colour purple, not like the normal blue
Slowly we became closer as did the nickname mocks
And we realized we loved ice cream only from Cold Rock

You became my princess, everything to me
My one and only, the special Sarah G
Your nickname for me; hubby soon came to be
Except we both know ill always be your Kev G

As our relationship grew, as did the friendship
Came the words I love you till the end.
I hope you see, as clear as I do
My feelings for you are strong and true

So here my feelings are laid down flat for you to see
I hope that in given time you will forgive me
Sarah G your always on my mind
You really are just one of a kind

So now this poem comes to an end
