The snow globe

by Kaila   Dec 9, 2008

Cold wet flakes fall swiftly onto my dark eyelashes,
Your smile overwhelms the frigid body, which I am in.
Not one, but two frozen flakes lay upon my lips,
Only to be melted by the warmth of your' own.

Dazzling black flats upon my feet scream for sympathy,
As the icy breath of the sky takes a more chilling course.
Your eyes so blue, even the white flakes help them shine.
Our noses inches from brushing; my stomach does loops.

The wind starts spinning, encircling, dancing around us.
Like a snow globe in a four year olds tiny grasp.
The earth being shook to make us the beautiful piece of art.
As your warmth captures my chapped lips once again.
