Lies

by Kayl   Dec 11, 2008

Its hard to look at you the same,
when i see you fall, over and over, its like a game.
You never help yourself,
you always put other people on the shelf.
You ignore the people who care,
and fall over the ones who are never there.
You lied to my face,
making me feel like a disgrace.
Friends and lovers turned bad,
you always telling me how your sad.
Drugs and madness,
your "girls" and their caddiness.
I find out your doing worse,
i feel like i have been cursed.
You never once told the truth,
i was always left without any proof.
Lie after lie, i don't even think you know whats real.
Your fighting just to get that steal.
Compulsive liar from the start,
I'm afraid its time to part.
Lies never make friends,
and i'm sorry friend, this is the end.

Very strong emotions. There was a couple spelling mistakes, and some explanations were a little ordinary. For example: “its raining cat's and dog's." It’s nicer when you get to see the writer’s personality. Because when you explain things, the reader gets to see how you see things. But if it’s the same old expressions everyone knows, they loose interest. Readers love originality and I don’t doubt that you lack it. Don’t be scared and just go crazy with it.

I can’t wait to read your next poem! Keep writing,

    mandy :)
