My Doll

by Daisy   Dec 11, 2008

It arrived in the post one day,
Beautifully wrapped,
That person must have paid.
It was a doll,
That was indeed,
A doll of certain vanity.
My eyes did dance,
My lips would laugh,
My feet would prance,
As I held my doll.
Golden locks,
(Curly hair),
And everyone would stare.
It was indeed,
A doll of certain vanity.....

Very nice. I remember my "doll of certain vanity" when I was 12. I thought she was the most beautiful thing in the world. Keep up the good work.

Good poem. It could have been a little better but other then that there was nothing wrong. I gave it a 5/5.
