Sitting in the Rain

by pozinthenoise   Dec 12, 2008

Another living soul sits in the rain
While secretly dancing with the pain.
The music anticipated a bitter song,
When she gave a little shake of emotion.

As passersby make memories of forever
She watched hers sink into the river
With regrets that kept going deeper
Telling the wind, "it is over..."

His name kept echoing in her mind
And it's a sound that's making her cry.
But as she sits in the rain she knows,
Nobody would wipe the tear that flows...

In the rain, he laid his goodbyes
She's like an ice, he tried to confide.
That's why memories bring her into a sad lullaby,
Everytime water falls from the sky.

But maybe the ice has already melted
That's why tears were created,
And she cannot be acquitted
From regretting a love that took a bitter end...

Another broken soul sits in the rain
While secretly dancing with the pain
But as she gave a little shake of emotion,
No one was dancing at the rhythm of her song.

This poem made me sad, cos I have felt the same way.....there were times when I cried, but nobody was able to see that.
You made great picture of how someone feels when is being left alone.
    Keep it up.5/5
