The reason why the sun rises no more,
The reason why there is no open door,
The reason why the moon is seen at noon,
The reason why forever is always soon,
The reason why the oceans are dry,
The reason why immortals die,
is the reason why love must hide,
Lest it festers under a dream of foolish pride.

The reason why the sky is falling,
The reason why the silence is calling,
The reason why shadows can talk,
The reason why trees can sit and walk,
The reason why life is death in my world,
The reason why the boy never met the girl,
Is the reason why tonight the clouds are blue,
And the same reason why i cannot love you!
