I'm Lost

by BornAgainWriter   Dec 14, 2008

I'm stuck in the middle of an intersection,
Looking side to side at all the green signs,
My joints and body have began to weaken,
Studying the skies texture and pretty designs.

I glanced over to see a peaceful little Dove,
Staring straight back at me; Chirping a tune,
I close my eyes and tilt my head above,
Then they open- and I'm staring at the moon.

I'm so lost in this place I do not know,
I can't understand the language on the signs,
But it sounds like mumble to me though,
I wonder when the sun un-hides and shines.

I go with my instincts and follow straight ahead,
A road that is the brightest of them all,
Hoping I made the right choice- scratching my head,
Hoping that this is safe, and that I won't fall.
