A poets dream world

by Tangible heartache   Dec 28, 2008

Sitting down, with a pen in hand;
Drifting off to an imaginary land,
This is a place for you to dream;
Wonders far from the extreme,

Writing down what's on your mind;
Thoughts written down never to find.
A peaceful place for imagination;
The sweet urge for a written temptation,

It's a fairytale you long for in your head,
Sitting there thinking what's not said.
A contrast of mixed emotions,
Where no one comes to such notions.

A place where no words come unkind,
It's a safe haven in the mind.
A dreamer's world to live,
Having everything it could give.

Thoughts mixing, you begin to write,
Of your dream land full of excite.
This is where your happiness lies;
Where a poets imagination never dies.
