Jacob

As I fumble through my day angry at all,
I remember im loved by something so small.
He reminds of what life should always be,
Not about hectic jobs, and not about me.
But a more simple thing, just wanting to play,
Not worrying about this and that, or getting my way.
But more about peek aboo, or stacking a block,
Playing switch aroo with tigger, or finding that sock.
After a hard days work, you come home full of sighs
Till he laughs and giggles, and looks in your eyes.
Sometimes he wakes at 2am, and touches your skin,
So when you start to get mad, he lets out a grin.
He's saying he is sorry he cant sleep, but he loves you so,
And there will be many more grumpy nights, just so you know
And when you are watching TV and he;s tugging your leg
Give him full attention and don't make him beg
He dosnt mean any harm when he plays in the dirt
Or when your holding him tight and he pukes on your shirt
He makes it all go away with his little soft touch,
Makes you relize it's the little things that mean so much.
