All the guys are in tuxedos
All the girls were in very gorgeous dresses
But for what occasion are they dressed up for
Obviously your wedding my dearest...

You've been planning this ever since
We became a couple me and you
Can't believe it's happening so soon

The time has flew so fast yet
This day seems like an eternity
Everyone is happy and excited
Over joy that your finally getting married

You look so gorgeous standing there at the door
With your stunning snow white dress
One that even the Angels would envy
As you watch the flower girl spread all the petals

You smile as all eyes are on you
You walk slowly as your dad escorts you down the aisle
Finally in front with all your bride maids
And your soon to be husband

You recite your vows and say "I Do"
At that moment I knew you'd be happy
As tears start to form under your eyes
I reached towards your face to wipe it away...

But my hands can't reach,
For I'm not the groom...I'm the Ex...
Watching my dearest getting married to my best friend...
I secretly walk out before anymore damage is dealt

But you spot me before I can make a clean escape
Even though you made me promise to stay
That was yet another promise I could not keep
The pain was too much to bear for my torn up heart

After the ceremony you found me up in the choir
"I know what I did and I can't apologize either" I said
Place the ring on the piano and left...
As I passed you, we simultaneously said "Goodbye"...
