Thoughtless Minds Thinking Thoughtless Words

by Cantchangeme   Jun 10, 2004

Thoughtless minds thinking thoughtless words
Voiceless mouths shouting for freedom shut
A world where they take your own points
Turn them towards your heart and stab you

Especially when the world isn’t what you wanted
And you didn’t feel blessed with your life either
Just like the voiceless words inside your head
Insecurity takes you over yet again so you cry

Like the trees in the wind, you wish you were free
But your picked out of your safe place, and just left
Left to live? Left to die? They smile but don’t care
The shadows laugh at you; you’re just another number

Please don’t be scared of angels, devils or demons
But be scared of men in suits, money is their grail
Just when you had a thought of a kind of acceptance
They are the ones to take it away, un-willing to fail

One day I woke up and pushed my hand into the fire
Where I walked alongside black wide-eyed angels
We talked and walked until I saw my reflection
At which point I shook my head and walked away

Thoughts of tranquillity washed away to black
Thoughts of serenity but you can’t go back
As voiceless voices voice their opinions bleak
Our Voices
Our Thoughts
Our Eyes
Our Frailty…
…This Reality
