You don't need be there

by MorbidCupcake   Jan 7, 2009

Screaming silently under a sky of gray
The wounds are replaced, and suddenly I am the same
You'd ignore my cries if you heard me
I hurt myself, just to watch me bleed
Because I love it when these veins feel dry

This part of you is getting stale
I'm not sure I care what you do
It's not like I'll ever get close to you

Overguessing; my escape
Your noose tightly around my neck
I am drained and wrecked
These wounds are paid for now
And they will never erase
These scars are final
Destruction that's here to stay
