On Unspoken Love and Friendship

by Suzy   Jan 13, 2009

"Love unspoken is the loudest sound of all"
(Dawsons Creek)

Digging a hole she feels walls caving in
Struggling to confine emotional tide
Caged in the heart sensing the airs get thin
Running from feelings she can't put aside

Uninhibited tears and laughter shared
A friendship blossoms as the years go by
Undaunted the fragile innocence spared
Unable to fathom the reasons why

Revealing true feelings makes her feel scared
Destroying that garden nurtured by fate
Hidden passions of a love undeclared
The fear he won't fall or reciprocate

Now weary her heart helpless to decide
To live with fear or let the love subside
