My Pen Likes To Draw Our Hearts {Together } (Licentia Rhyme)

Heart fluttering as tender kisses I taste
Sweet scent lingers as I lay in your embrace
All day long could gaze into those caffeine eyes
Falling for you been such a pleasent surprise
Giving myself fully, that's a guarantee
Best thing about this, you're loving me for me
Two hearts once alone are now joined together
Hoping that they will stay this way forever
And though I'm aware I'm sounding so cliche
It's true can't help falling deeper every day

All day long could gaze into those caffeine eyes

Sometimes quiet, it's not I don't want to share
Just used to not having anyone to care
Slowly showing me, some people I can trust
Idea no longer leaving me with disgust
Though it may not show, grateful that you are here
For it seems I'm happiest when you are near
Even though my emotions don't always show
Each and every passing day these feelings grow

Giving myself fully, that's a guarantee

Sometimes I'm reserved, so when you think I'm cold
Cause this is a new way for life to unfold
Used to things going wrong so always held back
Things that I've wanted I've always seemed to lack
So give me more time, promise we'll be okay
You, I long to hold at the end of each day
Never saw his coming, didn't have a clue
Euphoric the person I'm holding is you

    Jenni, this is an extremely impressive poem, for the form as well as the poem itself. The form is really cool, I've never seem a poem quite like it. There are so many lines that I really enjoyed within this.

    All day long could gaze into those caffeine eyes

    ^^this is one of my favorite lines. It's such an interesting picture, caffeine eyes? I feel like that could mean a lot of different things, it's quite a cool saying.

    ^^I also really love this line, it's sweet. This entire poem is very sweet and seems to hold a lot of passion and care from your part.

    I also counted all the syllables and such and it's perfect. Love the rhythm as well. (:

    Another good example of the Licentia Rhyme style.

    I love the way you use the descriptive words and adjectives. It adds so much to the poem. There was one word that I thought could use another look though. I dont think that CAFFEINE and EYES join together very well. It took me several attempts to try to visualize CAFFEINE EYES, but finally I did. Its just a personal opinion, but I would suggest trying to replace that one word.

    Moving on, the rest of the poem was great. I love the powerful words like EMBRACE and DISGUST and GUARANTEE and FLUTTERING etc. It added so much meaning to the poem that I knew that you really put your heart into it (or your one of THOSE that I just comes to right away).

    Lastly, i love the very last word of the poem. It left a considerable impression in my mind about the entire poem.
