You can die but I won't cry,
In the end you're just another guy.
Walking in and not taking a stand,
Thinking I'll offer you my hand.

You're just another guy passing here and there,
So many things in life of which you're unaware.
You're just another playboy craving but a name,
Let me show you what is real fame.

You think you got what it takes to satisfy,
Read my lips and my eyes - they never do lie.
You were never what I needed nor wanted in fact,
Another entity passing only to fleetingly distract.

You can die but I won't cry.
In the end you're just another guy.
Walking in and not taking a stand,
Thinking I'll offer you my hand.

I made many mistakes for the sake of love,
Thinking you were but as pure as a white dove.
I remember so many a time that I was the one,
But you shot me down and scorched me in the sun.

I believed in so many and the faith last restored,
Trust and respect built itself around you in awe.
Felt that in life all I ever needed was your touch,
Nothing more but you've draped me in insanities lust.

You can die but I won't cry.
In the end you're just another guy.
Walking in and not taking a stand,
Thinking I'll offer you my hand.

Cos I loathe what I need,
Live but to feed.
On something I crave,
Drugged but digging a grave.

You can see it in my eyes,
As I look towards my latest prize.
Lust but feeds me to live another lie,
At the end of it I ask myself "Why?".

You can die but I won't cry.
In the end you're just another guy.
Walking in and not taking a stand,
Thinking I'll offer you my hand.

To drag your soul deeper into sins keep,
But at constant days end you begin to weep.
For no matter the deep satisfaction,
There will always be an unwanted reaction.

These images paint a picture perfect fool,
Dragging itself through arms just to rule.
Heart's and minds of foreign fiends that shall over ride,
Beliefs and self morals pushed to one side.

You can die but I won't cry.
In the end you're just another guy.
Walking in and not taking a stand,
Thinking I'll offer you my hand.

    Wow after reading this I will definatly be reading your other poems. Very touching, very emotional, its grabs you and drags you in, you can't help but feel the emotion the saddness, pain, and anger. It was amazing. 5/5

    Well Ash that was quite an emotional poem, you got your message across so very loudly, a very sad poem of an expensive lesson.
    And at the same time an angry one telling someone of the high cost of playing with your love and emotions.
