Far and Away

by Bill Turner   Jan 17, 2009

Rolling through this life, soulless and lost
Finding you a blessing, a dream come true
Out of the shadows and into the light
Longing for you well into the night
Death stalking me at every turn
God answering my taunts with action
Laying upon me a piece of work
All for being a jerk
Here I am missing you
Longing for your touch
Loving you, heart and soul
Your touch making me whole
Eternity looking for a love like ours
Finding a lifetime in your arms
Will God whisk it away?
Will I be with you far and away?
