Monster.

by StandStill   Jan 20, 2009

It's a little bit darker,
hiding on the other side
of your nightmares.
You asked me
once
too long ago
to be your heroine,
because you needed a saviour
to hold you warm.
I'm sorry that I crashed that
and shook it to the moon.
'Cause now you don't believe
in forever
(I tried to end it)
and you don't believe in fairy tales
('cause I'm the monster beneath your bed)
Tell me..
(Am I the monster in your head?)
