Nothing at all (version 09)

by MorbidCupcake   Jan 24, 2009

In anguish, she suffers through
The tiny box of a life
So caged inside, endless tears she cries
Because nothing is enough

Spreading the disease
The scarlet color bursting from her veins
But behind her fake smile
She never feels anything

Alone with her thoughts
Enclosed with nothing
But the love she had lost
And now she's losing everything

The only thing to kill the hunger
For something better in this life
A rusty blade atop the counter
And a sharp-edged knife

Through all the love her family shares
She still feels like they don't care
Waiting on the sidewalk, waiting to die
A car is coming straight towards her, she won't survive
But the suffering takes too much of her inside
Anxiety, dripping
She is still slipping, but she doesn't know why
The suffering comes and then it's like
Nothing is alright
